Hello! We have an MS access database we would like to convert over to Visual Studio 15 Visual Basic application. The application is a stand alone access database that uses the treeview component to dsiplay customer assets and their attached documents. Although its a small and simple database application, there is a lot of hand written Visual basic code running in the background to make things work. The code is well written and commented, and what the application does is easy to understand. We would like to convert this access database to a working visual studio 15 (visual basic application) The database would be MS server sql, but We are open to suggestion on how to make the application continue to be used locally without a MS Sql database server. We estimate the project is about 23 weeks full time work and can supply the database for review. We would like a quote for time and cost to carry out this project.

Hi, after looking at your description, would you consider sqlite db ? I believe it is light-weight and compact db which makes it perfect for local use. I have experience in this area (using sqlite db as project file for engineering app). Looking hearing from you. Kind regards
