Find Information from Websites and fill in online database

This is an opportunity for a long-term engagement with an online service which compiles information about commercial real estate transactions (mainly in the United States). The researcher's tasks will include: * stay on top of an already assembled collection of RSS feeds monitoring news on commercial real estate transactions * recognize applicable information related to real estate transaction, either new or already existing in the online database * if new, enter the transaction information into the online database * if existing, enter missing information to further enhance the correctness or completeness of existing information * if applicable, refine and enhance the completeness of existing transactions by further online research or just general fields clean-up The researcher's skills should include: * Excellent ability to read and comprehend articles written in English about commercial real estate * Excellent ability to extract relevant information and record in the database (in excellent English) * Ability to follow directions yet work independently on improving quality of input and quality of data The job tools are really just basic Google searches and the online database. If dealing with multiple transactions - after gaining comfort and understanding of the process - it may also involve setting up an Excel spreadsheet for mass import into the database. The job is very active Mon-Fri but quiet on the weekends (Sat-Sun), unless you prefer to catch up on those days. It could be done in batches - doing blocks of data input - but it could also be done as a continuous activity. Compensation will be based on additions into the database rather then hours spent. We would love to see someone who can learn into the opportunity, have the ability to stick with it and improve over time. Compensation can be set up on a weekly or monthly basis. Depending on data input, weekly compensation may range from $100-200.
