I need a program that will connect to MSSQL 2008 R2 and read 1 row and allow it to be changed via a simple GUI

I have a int variable in a mssql database that I would like to let the user change without them manually going into the database. I will need a small exe that will connect to the localhost, read the row, subtract that number from 100 and display it in a changeable box to the user, accept the users change by subtracting the new number from 100 and inserting the remaining variable
