Hello, Myself Kiran, I am a postgraduate in Automotive Electronics and I have a professional experience of 2+ years as an embedded software engineer. I have good experience in working with PIC and ARM microcontrollers. I have worked in many CAN based projects in my previous company and for my post graduation projects. Most of the projects were related with OBDII diagnostics. We were working on the J1979 protocol (CAN and KWP2000) to read the basic diagnostics data from the vehicle. We also tried to implement UDS ISO 14229. Also I am good in working with Vector CANoe tool. From the project descriptions I am guessing that you are trying to make an aftermarket telematics solution for BMW/Benz cars. So the main task will be reading data using CAN interface.
