We need help in doing an audit for our legacy SONET network to help us budget the migration and decommissioning of this platform. The rough start time for this is 30-60 days and it will be 100% remote work. Scope: • Audit ~400 SONET nodes and ~5,000 circuits • Equipment is mostly comprised of Cisco 15454s • Access will be via TL1 or CTC across customer VPN • Identify Reachability Node name, IP, and location Environmental Standing alarms Physical inventory and card/slot layout Software versions Physical layer connectivity Circuit details including CID, type, state, condition, nodal hops, wrk/prt paths, PM stats, etc Topology drawing per region Provide a per market/KMA breakdown

Hi, I have done a similar project for a utilities company in Melbourne Australia, however not to the same quantities as your network. I see you are using TL1 which will take me a little time to recall the ascii syntax however I estimate about 14 nodes per day on audit plus some time for documentation and topology diagrams. The proposal is only a close estimate at 1000per day + FL fees. I am currently based in Greece so would work on a similar time zone as your company. I would be happy to provide a resume of my experience. I have a few questions around how the Sonet gear is connected.. EG TL1 Mux with TL1 gateway and snmp interface? Kr Mike
