Configure, Debug, Train user on Freeswitch & FusionPBX

Need help configuring, debugging and training myself on my Freeswitch - Fusion PBX Setup. I have successfully done a basic configuration of my FreeSwitch - FusionPBX on Raspbian (Raspberry Pi 2) Raspbian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie) Issue: 1 Everything was working fine until i manually tried to update freeswitch and fusion pbx as mentioned on the fusionpbx website. I managed to get it updated. Everything works fine except I cant make or receive calls. The IVR says that the other user is not available. Issue: 2 Earlier whenever I made a call and dialed in the numbers there was a huge pause before i hear the ring tone. How do i reduce this time gap between me dialing in the numbers and hearing the ring. Issue: 3 Overall checkup of the system, see if everything is in place/Security of the system. Training: 1. Need training on how to take a backup. 2. How to perform future upgrades (freeswitch+fusionpbx) from the terminal. Preferably explaining what each command does. 3. Configure and Setup Music on Hold.
