This should be fairly straightforward, but completely depends on your exact setup. I would nee to take a quick look at your full configuration. Your digitmap alone will not allow you to do what you are asking. The digitmap is just to define what number patterns you can dial, with or without a timeout. Your VoIP service is likely based outside Shanghai, which is why you need to dial the area code when calling local Shanhai numbers. What you are asking is often refereed to as a digit translation. For example, you want to dial 53524999 number in Shanghai, the system will need to translate this to 02153524999. We will need to add this digit translation in your system somewhere. If your VoIP service is actually based out of Shanghai, you can give this digitmap a try: *xx|[2-9]xxxxxxx|1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx|911|0xx.T That digitmap is a modification of yours that would allow you to dial any 8 digit number that began 2 or higher.
