Case Study

I need a case study about something in civil engineering, I do not have a specific topic but I would prefer something about structure. You can use as much sources as you want. The course is about statistics. This is what you need to do: 1)Define a problem & objective 2)A one page report of background knowledge, problem statement and quality objective together with legitimate references. 3)identify control factors and metrics following the quality objective. The report must include Cause-and-Effect Diagram and Process Flow Diagram to show the flow of thinking. Searching for jounral articles, textbooks, other statistics to support validity of ideas is definitely a plus. 4)collect numerical data of size over 100 based on the predefined metric. 5)generate descriptive statistic from the collected dataset. Viable statistical techniques include Histogram, Box plot, Scatter Diagram, Pareto Diagram, as well as location and dispersion parameters.
