Hello, In general if the windows console application doesn't require any special controls that are working with the user interface or require hidden windows we can easily convert it to a windows service. I can even make it to be self registering windows service. I made it many times. I am available to discuss about your windows console application. Dear Sir or Madam About the project, here is what I would add to the Windows NT service to make it reliable: 1. Set it as a crash restart service. If for any reason, it crashes, Service Manager will restart it. 2. Send Email to a predefined Admin address if it crashes or has other fatal errors. I assume the programming language is C++ or C#.
