I'm interested in your project because I started something similar based on the libraries used by Wireshark. (Windows) I work as a software engineer for 15 years and I know network programation. If I'm not famous on freelancer, I'm recognized as reliable on Elance where I realized a few projects. For this project, I propose several phases: 1) Fix specifications with you for complexity of user MMI, exports and network configuration 2)General software architecture (development tools, libraries, processes, multithreading) 2) Network development, packet capture, kind of filtering, etc...) 3) User/Administrator interface development 4)Extensive testing and validating I post my offer because I think I have a good idea of how to realize it and I should like this work.
