We are looking to continually develop, enhance, and modify our processing of screening and vetting prospective employees Our goal is to develop a set of 15-20 technical interview questions for each of the following skill sets: Oracle Database Administration SQL Database Administration Questions should meet the following criteria: • Must be able to effectively determine an individual’s practical real world experience with respect to the given technology and concepts/tools thereof • Must be easily communicated by a non-technical individual over the phone • Must be easily understood by the candidate over the phone • Answers must be specific and not open to interpretation • Answer must not be easily found on a search engine Question Formats Short Answer Multiple Choice T/F *Please Indicate for which of the Skillsets you are bidding.

I've worked in Oracle and SQL as a software engineer. I've also taken up interviews in the same technologies be it telephonic, face to face or on skype. The projects for which I took these interviews were business critical and hence it was very important to find the right candidates for the job. As per the information given for this project, I understand that you want to have a uniform questionnaire which can be used multiple times across different levels by persons without or having little technical knowledge. My idea for developing the set of questions would be to have 30% easy questions, 40% moderate questions and 30% tough questions.

I currently work as a DBA at a local company in Argentina. One of my tasks is to assess knowledge of SQL for candidates running for the area of operations. To perform this evaluation, I designed a test containing short questions where I know if the candidate has experience as DBA. I could give you some examples to see if they can be useful. Thanks!
