I need to create a rental car pricing system in python. I would like to have this done by march 18, 2016. Details are as follows:
You will create a rental car pricing system. Name the file "[login to view URL]". The program should meet the following requirements:
The program should ask the user for the following information:
A code that indicates what type of car they rented ('B' for budget, 'S' for standard, or 'L' for luxury)
The vehicle's odometer reading at the start of the rental period
The vehicle's odometer reading at the end of the rental period
The number of days the vehicle was rented
The program should check to make sure the user entered a valid code ('B', 'S', or 'L')
The program should use a function to calculate the total amount of the bill. The bill is calculated using the following rules:
Budget cars are $40/day
Standard cars are $60/day
Luxury cars are $80/day
Regardless of what type of car, each mile driven over the first 100 miles is charged $0.35
The program should output the following to the user:
The full text of the car's classification ("Budget", "Standard", or "Luxury")
The total number of miles driven
The number of miles charged (over the first 100)
The total amount of the bill
Your program should meet the following requirements:
Use comments as necessary to communicate to me, the reader of the program
Use a consistent naming convention for your variables (preferably using under_scores)
Use a consistent indentation format (tabs vs spaces)
Use meaningful variable names
Separate your program into 3 sections, indicated by comments: import statements, function definitions, and program logic
I am a PhD student in computer science, specializing in data mining and machine learning. I am well versed in Python and can complete your project for a fixed amt 45$.
I have done a similar project to this in a python class I've taken about a year ago, only difference being instead of rentals it was car parking in a parking deck where different types of cars would have different rates
