Hi, Matt S Rinc here and I can help you (though slightly busy with other projects so deadline is longer than usual). Please let me know if you can have a Kivy application (Python framework). This would be an elegant wrapper arround Python code, running and setting parameters in GUI. Kivy app can be generated for Mac, Windows, Linux and also Android (I have no experience yet with iPad exporting). I have a MacBook Pro so testing an app is not an issue.
