Need an application which send emails when an ALERT jumps in SCADA. A SCADA is running in a PC Windows. The PCL sends Alerts to the SCADA. We would like to send via email these alerts at the same moment that the SCADA gets the Alert.

Hello. I am expert in PLC/SCADA. Can you give more details about: - What is SCADA/PLC you use? Most of SCADA does not support sending email, but it have MSQLServer. We can send email in SCADA software with some ways: - Code in SCADA software - Store alerts in MSQLServer, write a program to access to MSQL, get alerts and send email. On Alarm or based on condition, It would send an alert/ email to certain group of users. It would have snooze delay, which will stop sending the same alert multiple time.

I think that the best solution for your project is to develop an application in c# or c++ that get the alarm directly from PLC and then send email. I need to know what kind of PLC you use.
