Seeking a talented developer to help pioneer development of a web based enterprise marketplace service. Efficient front-end/back-end to allow legal businesses to trade new and surplus, overstock or unwanted inventory (secondary market goods). Experience designing and building large and complex (yet maintainable) systems a plus as would be BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or the equivalent. Knowledge of PHP or Python would be an advantage in addition to all round stack/sys. admin skills. Targeted at B2B OPEX; goods and services. Trust, rating system based on real company information and trade history Payment system based on third party merchant e.g [login to view URL], Paypal. Facilitation of long-term contracts and repeat transactions (saved transactions, subscriptions) Protocols, connections and communication (messaging, connection between companies, communication layers * Secure, easy to use front-end, relavant/well adopted scripting language e.g Python, PHP Scalable database and back-end framework e.g MySQL Authentication for users based on company no's (UK companies house) Payment merchant e.g [login to view URL], Paypal for transactions between buyers, sellers * Contextual UI based on speed, simplicty, security Connections layer; tagging, follow/save company/product/markets, profile generated content (news), opt-in controls * Product/company/documentation (datasheets, manuals) indexing * Powerful search, navigation * Communication layer; e.g messages Share/export tools * Back-end information system product import tools (ERP, XML, other import tools) * Flexible transaction process, meaning back and forth negotiation between buyer, seller and intermediary * Customer profiles, supplier conditions and information * Stats for buyers, sellers including relevant financial accounts, shipping, traffic, recommendations * Management/administration, static pages (policies), support system
