My prototype flash gallery is based on TRIWORKS's ? "SIMPLE XML GALLERY V2" an XML full screen image gallery ([login to view URL]) As you can see from the example, this template is scalable to fill any window proportionally. ? ?
I'm looking to modify this site template with additional Actionscript 2.0 functions. ?
I have created specific graphical additions within the FLA file. I need someone to add the code (AS2) to make these additions functional. I would like each piece of code, for each additional function, to be placed on separate layers, in separate keyframes for easy access. In other words, I want to be able to turn these features on or off easily.?
## Deliverables
• I need a? vertical? column on the left side to display XML text. This hidden info column must toggle visible on rollover via a small button fixed in the upper left corner. Within this XML populated info column, I would like the option to include hyperlinks. Upon rollout, the column will go back to hidden.
• I need the option of fixed left and right navigation buttons, centered relative to the browser window. I need the option to "comment out (//)" this nav option when needed. I want the left and right buttons anchored in the same way as in this file:? [login to view URL]
• I need to modify the hot zones for left and right mouse navigation to 1/3 of the window on either side. As of now, they're set to 1/2 each. I need the option to "comment out" this nav when needed.
• I need a 3/16 size (relative to window size) hot zone at the bottom of the window which will show/hide the thumbnail images via rollover.
• This template uses the Bitmap Class for displaying images. I need to separate this code so that I can turn it off, thus, allowing for the use of SWFs in my image gallery. In other words, I need to use this same format for an XML driven gallery of SWFs.
• I need an approximately 1/3 (horizontal) square hot zone toggling visible a play button upon rollover. This play button must play the currently loaded SWF. This play button must appear automatically for 2 seconds, upon navigating to a new SWF, and then fade out. It will become visible again upon mousing over the centered hot zone.
• I need a floating info module that is called to center stage via a button. This module must be closable by clicking an X in its upper right corner. It must be able to contain buttons and links.
Currently, I have all of the graphical elements or descriptive guides placed in an FLA file ready to be coded. I'm looking for someone with experience in these specific ActionScript 2.0 matters. For an experienced AS2 coder, this should be a simple process. Please let me know if you have the experience I need.
