BlackBerry Video App

I'm looking for developer who can code a video player (titled Reelfuse) for BlackBerry OS that can stream online media. For flexibility, the entire code or parts of it can be J2ME as long as it works on BlackBerry devices. ## Deliverables Currently the BlackBerry OS does not seem to support streaming of Windows Media files and/or use of the mms:// protocol. However it does permit streaming of rtsp:// protocol Real Media files ending with .sdp or .3gp ? Serious bidders only, please do not place a bid with just a message that contains links to your websites. In your bid it would be satisfactory if you can provide a review of the project, estimate, timeline, limitations, partial list of clients, your company profile and samples of works completed in .cod format for overview of user interfaces and functions implemented with any necessary user name and password for such demos. ? **Application Requirements** **? ** 1. Use of Wi-Fi for better performance on channels with higher bitrate. The application's connection speed should be Automatic and defaulting to Wi-Fi first. If Wi-Fi is present all channels will be visible to the user. If Wi-Fi is no longer available or not present, only the channels with lower bitrate should be visible. If Wi-Fi is active an icon of it should be visible and lit otherwise present and not lit. From within the application the user should have the option to turn on Wi-Fi in case it is off, after successful connection, the icon will be lit and the channels will refresh, preferably in the background. ? 2. Option to - Filter channels by category and/or country. ? 3. Option to - Search by channel name, description or category. ? 4. At default screen favorites should be the view showing, Channel name, Category, Rating, Bitrate and Description. ? 5. Option to - Add and Remove to/from favorites. ? 6. Option to - update channels, report dead channels, rate channels, suggest new channels and flag inappropriate channels. ? *** Important: If the user chooses to receive an updated list of channels their default email from Messaging CMIME address will be submitted to our database which will reside on the server. If the address already exists on the server nothing will be written. ? 7. All countries view will show all available channels in 100 channels per page increment. ? 8. Ability to see total number of channels. ? 9. Option to - Easy clear all filters option. ? 10. The application should have a designated area for advertisements. Ads will rely on information from the server pulling the images onto the phone. The server will have a managed ads campaign deciding how often an ad will show. To clarify, this app does not need conversion taking place at any point to .3gp format from Windows Media or other media types. It needs to have the ability to stream the media? protocols and file formats described above. No user? will ever be uploading videos nor will I be hosting them. When referred to suggesting a channel, the user simply will be suggesting a link they would like to see in the list of all channels so it can be added to their favorites and perhaps used by other users as well. At last, if all else fails due to API limitations and whatnot, I would like an application? as described using all available protocols and formats such as the .sdp and .3gp. that currently supported.
