BackupRead API function example

Demonstration in VB.Net of the Windows API function 'BackupRead', and complete parsing of the data read by the BackupRead function.? The project should demonstrate backing up a file that contains reparse points, security access control lists,? extended attributes, and multiple streams. ## Deliverables The program should be a VB.Net console application, work on 32bit and 64bit windows, and operate in the following manner: 1) Ask user to create temp file Y/N 1a) If N, prompt user for file to test with a OpenFileDialog -- if Cancel, exit 1b) If Y, create temp file(s) with reparse point, extended attributes, multiple streams, and custom ACL entries. 2) For each file created, or specified file, execute 3a-3c 3a) Read the specified or temp file using the BackupRead API function into a [login to view URL] 3b) With a [login to view URL], read and parse the MemoryStream, writing out each of the header values to the console 3c) Use [login to view URL] to pause, then delete the temp file if applicable The application does not need to parse the saved data for the individual ACL entries, the extended attributes, or the actual data used for the reparse points.? Just the headers (stream headers/etc) need to be parsed and displayed.? The offsets within the MemoryStream of the start and end points of the? file/stream data, extended attribute information, and ACL information should be displayed.
