The end result should be an all VB6 code class. If possible should be coded with the SocketWrench visual controls at www.catalyst.com. These controls are free to download and test with so you will not be required to purchase them to complete this project. If this is a problem, standard winsock controls can be used instead, but the above components are preferred. We had a Python Script translated to VB6 in a previous project, but we can not use this direct translation, hence the need for a class. We have included the Python Script as well as the VB Code in the zipfile. The following methods and properties are expected: Methods(parameters): Connect(Hostname/IP,Port) This should be a function that returns 0/1 based upon whether the connection was made or not. Login(Username, Password) This should be a function that returns 0/1 based upon whether the username and password were accepted. Disconnect This should be a function that returns 0/1 based upon whether the Socket was disconnected correctly or not. SendCommand(commandtext) as string Commandtext is the actual command sent to the server. A typical command is "[login to view URL]". This then returns a list of all maps on the server. This function should return a string in a readable format. (I.E. The way the console returns the text) See attached Readme for more clarity. Properties: Hostname Remote server hostname or IP, used for the Connect method Port Remote server port, users for the Connect method Username Used for the Login method Password Used for the Login method
