BLOG (Traveling and Philosophy) set up text and pictures (possibly WordPress), buyer is mac user high quality in content and design, excellent English skills (proof-reading) looking for long term relationship (ongoing work for years to come) ## Deliverables BLOG (Traveling and Philosophy) **> Please read my project information and send your answers to my questions (see at the end) when you reply with your bid** Project Objective: blog with articles and pictures of my travels (I will start with one paragraph/intro/welcome, one article and approx. 30 pictures) / blog must run on windows and mac (I have mac) Web designer must have graphic design talent (an eye for detail and design is important) and excellent English skills (proof reading my English, I’m a German native) Looking for long term relationship It needs to be clarified (analysis: what fits my needs best) what language/program/code/online web builder will be used for creating the blog; mandatory is a user friendly application; I’m looking for a solution that “anyone?? can add and change my site (i.e. web builder goes out of business); changes in text and layout must be able to be done without lots of effort/costs (i.e. online login); preferably WORDPRESS (unless you can convince me that wordpress is not good enough to obtain a high end solution for my blog site) Owner of blog site remains me (incl. source files, graphics, etc.) Blog Site Details: purpose: to generate more traffic to my business web site audience: travelers, motorcyclists, anyone interested in philosophy & personal development (entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial thinkers) blog is separate from business web site (links to web site in my articles) blog is accessible to the world still have to decide if others can write in my blog (would prefer that readers who want to write contact me via my email account) adding content to the blog: both versions must work > web developer or myself (I need to be flexible on my time schedule but like to know how to do it as well) like to learn (get introductory training) how to update my blog (text and pictures) - comes in handy while traveling connect to social media (facebook, twitter, etc.) traffic analysis for my blog check out [[login to view URL]][1] > I like to use the font of ...Revolution (for my header) as well as the color/style of the background font for text, just like [[login to view URL]][2] or [[login to view URL]][3]? (versus “selling?? me on one solution because that’s how you always do it)? Why do you consider yourself as a web designer with a graphic design talent? (please send some references that I can check out, i.e. wordpress pages) Do you have excellent English skills (spelling, vocabularies, grammar)? ? ? ? ? (I don’t expect you to be my copy writer, but you must be able to proof-read my English because my mother tongue is German) Are you interested in a long term relationship or are you doing the web development only on a short term basis? Preferred course of action: Start with a free test (no more than an hour), test required since there’s ongoing work for years to come (want for long term relationship) - please let me know if you’re motivated to do that; or offer alternatives how to figure out if we are a good fit (before we really go into the? project together) - What are your thoughts?
