We have a paid subscription site that currently uses the [login to view URL] recurring billing to charge our customer’s credit card each month. Right now if a subscriber’s credit card is declined for any reason, our system only is designed to send us an email regarding this but does not send the subscriber an email. The system also is not designed to do anything about canceling subscriptions for subscribers whose credit cards are declined, so [login to view URL] will just keep trying to charge their card each month with no resolution. Currently, we are manually sending the emails to subscribers and manually canceling accounts.
We would like you to implement a system that auto-generates an email that is sent to the subscriber when their credit card transaction fails. If a subscription charge is declined for any reason, the system should be set to send the subscriber an email letting them know that the charge was declined and that they have 10 days to login into their account and update their credit card information to avoid interruption in their service. Then, our [login to view URL] recurring billing system should be set to automatically recharge the card after the 10 days the subscriber had to update their credit card information. If the second charge is declined, then the system should be set to cancel the subscription automatically and send the subscriber an email letting them know that their subscription has been canceled due to non-payment.
## Deliverables
We would also like you to counsel us on adding Paypal as an option for recurring billing using Authorize.net. We need information on how to add this and if you do a good job on the current project we will have you help us with adding Paypal to our site.
