A webspace for the disabled

The task is for a friend who is disabled, he wants to create a community website for the disabled, it has a degree of sponsor, but obviously it is a charity, so we need to keep our costs as low as possible. We want to the community website users to be able to: Create their own page (similar to websites such as myspace, but not as complex) Upload photos/ videos Write biographies and ongoing bloggs Be able to add friends Send messages to other participants Search the site for people and info Change the background colours and design to create a personal mini site. We already have a domain, hosting and database solution. Hosting will be on a unix server running apache and mysql. ## Deliverables 1) Completed and fully-functional working website as well as complete source code and setup/install instructions of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Server specification: Ubuntu Linux 6.06 Server Edition Apache Webserver MySQL PHP/Perl/Python/Ruby
