Provided with a URL of a page containing a recipe, this product will identify the dish name, ingredients and amounts, and instructions, as well as identifying potential photos of the instructions and completed dish. It will confirm these details with a user and allow them to manually make changes, and output this data to a tab-delineated document. Some user interaction is permissible. Ideally, the process would be automated when possible, only asking for confirmation; if that is not possible or otherwise infeasible, a user should be asked to select the region where the missing information appears, or highlight text; only as a last-case should they have to manually enter information. Obviously, 100% automation is not feasible, but a completed product should be able to with 80% accuracy identify and scrape recipes in pages presented to it, and require a user to spend no more than half a minute reviewing and correcting the data.
