Artistic Text Effects Library, Script, or Program

We're looking for a helper script or program that can accept text as input, and apply various effects to the text, saving the output to a file. The effects we are looking for are shown below. The output should be of an image format, **preferably** vector based, or high-quality raster. We believe postscript would be an ideal language for this script, but it is not a requirement. FYI the output file from this script or program will be used in an application that will output a PDF or EPS file (hence Postscript being an ideal choice). Example of possible use: ~$./texteffect -font="helvetica bold" -effect=arch -level=3 -negative=false -size=72 -saveas=/home/user/text/[login to view URL] "TEXT HERE" The following are must-have features: * Size of font must be specifiable, as must the font itself * Each text effect will have 4 levels of warping, corresponding to 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% (for example, with effect arc at 100%, the word would form a half-circle). * The output image will be layered on top of other objects in a graphics application, so the background should be transparent. I am a developer myself, so if you have any technical questions, feel free to ask and I'll do the best I can. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Preferably Linux.
