A Rotating Content Joomla Component / Module (85)

Use / modify [login to view URL] in addition with a Joomla 1.5 component / module system to rotate content. The administrator should have the ability to select a category, publishing start / end date, upload art, and enter copy. Project should use templates and parameters for everything. Nothing should be hard coded. XHTML / CSS will be provided for the template. An example file has been attached to show you what the finished product should look like. Almost all of the tools are provided. I will create the database for you. You simply need to put everything together. ## Deliverables The design should look identical to the file provided. Use / modify [login to view URL] for the slide show effect Joomla 1.5 The component / module system should allow the administrator to create the module and select the following parameters. --- Backend Administration --- General Configuration Options - Image size (width / height) - Show RSS Feeds (Default Setting) - Default Search URL - Show full content by extending template (Default Setting) - Image rotation timer (Default Setting) Content Item - Content Item Name - Publishing Start Date - Publishing End Date - Published / Unpublished - Photograph to be shown in the JS rotation - Featured Item - Category - Order (of importance) - Content Body - Option to truncate text or show entire text if text will extend the template, meaning if they entire too much text there should be a global and local option to either hide/truncate the extra text or extend the template to show the full text. Category Item - Category Name - RSS Feed URL(s) - Show RSS Feeds - Image rotation timer - Allow for multiple RSS feed URLs - Search URL - Category Publishing (if a category is unpublished all of it's children and content items are also unpublished) - Default Category Body Text - Option to truncate text or show entire text if text will extend the template, meaning if they entire too much text there should be a global and local option to either hide/truncate the extra text or extend the template to show the full text. Photographs - Use [login to view URL] - Photograph Name - Embedded photo editor (for cropping / resizing) - Original photo should be stored and not altered, cropping should be done inline and not by altering the original image. - Publish / Unpublish -- Frontend -- - Content item should display exactly as pictured. - Template should expand to fit all text if the backend option is selected - Photographs should rotate on a timer and also be selectable by clicking the appropriate "button" - RSS Feed is displayed in the bottom container (red bordered box) - Searches should be directed to a URL configured in the backend ## Platform Joomla 1.5
