Custom notification system for JomSocial

We currently have a custom alert system which inserts some data into a mysql table once users comment on a profile owner's photos and his/her videos. We want to expand this alert system now to also include alerts on: 1. Owner of the item ( or other users) (photo/video/wall etc) Replies to a comment made by another user - Results in an alert sent to the other user notifying him that "User X replied to your comment on < name of item here >" 2. Whenever a user clicks on the "Like" function throughout the site (photos/video/wall items / comments etc) - notification in sent to the owner of the item that "user X likes your < photo / video / status > 3. Comments on any wallitem - status etc... notification to the owner of the item is to be sent. (also here if anyone replies to a comment the notification is to be sent to the owner of the comment which is being replied to ) We already have our site set up with the viewing part of the alerts. All we want to be done here is for the correct data to be inserted in a table correcdtly which we've already created. * It's important that you document ALL your code properly and clearly so we can easily update to any future versions later of jomsocial.
