Booking component - Joomla

We need a booking component that we need help creating – the booking component (calendar) we want to use in Joomla 1.5.2. Details on what we want the component tod do: • Once a users have logged in (with the default Joomla user account) they should be able to click on a button named "book events" • Once users have pressed the "book events" button the user should be able to select which area to book the event in. For this first version we can have two areas - say "Area 1" and "Area 2". Later we wish to add more Areas which users can book – but to begin with these two is enough for testing. • Once the user has selected an “Area” they should be presented with a calendar / showing a monthly view. Users should be able to select a day on the calendar and set a start date and an end date. Start date format should be: year-month-day-hour-minute format. Start date format should be: year-month-day-hour-minute format. • Once a start date and an end date is booked the user will be shown a message “area is temporarily booked – we will email you a confirmation on the booking” • An email should be sent to administrator of the joomla site were the administrator of the Joomla site will be informed that someone has booked something. Admin should then login to Joomla and be shown information on what user has booked and then be able to confirm the booking – or deny the booking. If the order is “confirmed” by the administrator an email should be sent to the user informing him that the booking is complete. And if the booking is “not confirmed” by the administrator the user should get an email informing the user that the booking has been denied. If administrator does not reply within 2 days the booking should be automatically removed. And the user should be informed that the area is not booked. • When an area is booked – and the user is waiting for the “confirmation email” the area should be temporarily disabled so that other users can't select the same dates. That should cove the basics of what we want this calendar/booking component to do. There might be minor adjustments to the calendar once we get the basics working.
