Renewable Fuel Corp Website Update
Objectives
Update the Renewable Fuel Corp (RFC) website ([login to view URL]) with a fresh design adding a higher level of design values and balance to the overall look and feel. Continue with current messaging but provide flexibility for frequent upgrades to the site by the IT department, and should continue to be integrated with a CMS so that non-technical employees can update menus, images, pages, corporate and general news, and manage the content and subscriptions to a company newsletter.
Server Environment:
Webserver: Apache 2.0
OS: Linux
Database: Postgres, MySQL, or SQLlite are options
The current site uses Django. We are not locked in to any framework – the website should function as outlined here, and runs in the environment described.
Considerations:
a. The ability to add corporate news, industry news and other topical information easily
b. Provides easy navigation and is reader friendly
c. Ability to add or modify images and/or simple flash updates of images and content
d. Ability to integrate pricing sites for quotes on oil, fuel, feedstocks, etc
e. Maintain similar number of current pages, and easily create new pages, as well adjust menus, sub-menus, and menu priority
f. Simple newsletter management - manage subscribers (admin and subscriber managed), content, and distribution
g. Updated images are available

The winning bidder is expected to provide design mockups based on our requirements, our current website, and the examples above within one week of selection. Of the mockups provided, we will decide a finalist, and expect that the design can incorporate the above requirements.
