Business Intelligence - Pentaho (initial phase)

I am in the process of initiating a larger business intelligence project that is to utilize Pentaho (running on CentOS5.0 Linux, Mysql) for the BI. The data will be available in a mysql database. The application feeding these data into the database will be SugarCrm 5.0 with quite a few custom modules. The data will need to be visualized mainly in KPI. The visualization will either be shown in JSP created pages via the Pentaho Design Studio, or as installable SugarCrm modules containing dashlets written in PHP that pull the data from Pentahos webservices. This project is to get the fell for how well the datamodel in SugarCrm can be used or if we need a real datawarehouse and cubes in another database. I am looking for experienced BI developers. Skills needed: Well rounded skills in using Pentaho Design Studio Data Cube generation (either using Cube Designer for Mondrian or manually editing the definition files) MDX queries Pentaho Report generation Nice to have: Well versed in installing and configuring Pentaho and Jboss on Linux Mysql Java Jboss PHP This will just be the first in a long range of projects, however I am looking for at full time dedicated developer/developers for this and future projects. Specification for the project will be provided in private communication here on RAC. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Linux, Pentaho, Jboss
