Build POS framwork in DHTMLX touch - Can you do it?

We want to create a new POS (Point of Sale) project using DHTMLX touch ([login to view URL]) The application will be a web based point of sale device which will run locally on PC or on a network. The front end should be built using the DHTMLX Touch libray (see example [login to view URL]) and use a mysql database on the local machine. The mysql database will be updated from a central database using a php utility, to upload pos data each evening and download new products. The front end needs to be able to control hardware such as a receipt printer, so may require something like JavaPOS, you will need to research this. At this stage, all we want is a very simple working demo which will provide us with a framework as a proof of concept. So, it will be a simple DHTMLX Touch application to show the following * enter a barcode (simple number will do) into the front end, and return the product details from the database * enter a cash amount and store transaction in database * print a receipt and open cash drawer (we will use Epson TM-88V printer - you don't need this, just code the interface and we can test) This will be the basic framework to prove that this is a viable product. If you can create this, we will then award full project to you which will involve much more detail. All questions will be answered, but you must show that you can achieve fully the requirements.
