looking for a web developer who can build a fairly simple web site to assist in the configuration of a local device. The device hosts an apache based web site and can also host/call PHP based web services. Simple security is a must (the device can't host HTTPS, however logon design call a remotely hosted HTTPS server for authorisation. Job description: The pages required will need to be fully HTML 5 compliant as I expect that my clients will be mainly administering the device using mobile based browsers. the web site will need to able to call and display the results of remotely called web services. The pages and functions called on the device will need to be mainly self contained as the appliance can't host many things, however also be able to check on remote servers for connectivity. For this reason, the use of remote libraries is not really required. The main use cases are: - register device - configure device (based on form input) - send/receive test messages Web development project type: Redesign of a current work in progress Client side or server side development: Both Specific programming languages desired: PHP, HTML 5, and XML based RESTful web services Desired website or component functionality: The web site is fairly simple and straightforward. major use cases are: - test internet access from device - Send test message (Default XML based call to embedded web service) - consume remote test server web service I will expect the pages to scale for client devices from desktop based browsers to simple 'smart phones'.
