We require a developer who can create forms in Excel for data to be entered into an existing excel spreadsheet that contains the required calculations.
The file that contains the forms must be separate from the file containing the data so that the person entering new records cannot get access to the data after it has been entered.
The initial form we require is a simple one, but should be written in such a way that it will be easy to add further functionality in future.
The form should work as follows:
1. Button entitled ‘New Object’. When clicked this opens a form that has the following data fields on it:
i. Object Name (Text and Figures)
ii. Object Address (Text and Figures)
iii. Purchase Price (Currency to two decimal points)
iv. Income (Currency to two decimal points)
v. Maintenance and Repairs (Percentage to two decimal points)
vi. Administration Fees (Percentage to two decimal points)
vii. Interest Rate (Percentage to two decimal points)
viii. Tax Rate (Percentage to two decimal points)
ix. Percentage Debt (Percentage to two decimal points)
x. Percentage Equity (Percentage to two decimal points)
Note: Points ix and x should only be able to add up to 100%
2. There should be two buttons on the form OK and Cancel. OK adds a new record to the designated data, Cancel discards the data entered and opens a new empty form.
The Excel calculation data sheet is currently being written so before the project is undertaken a successful bidder will be able to view the destination database before commencing the project.
Please note that this will be the first of a number of projects including enhancements to the above and further new projects.
