Convert existing class to be asynchronous.

I am currently using the FTP library "[login to view URL]" and it works fantastic for everything I need, however when using it to download or upload multiple files it freezes my gui until it finishes which as you can imagine is very frusterating. I have read that converting the class to be asynchronous in operation would fix this problem. The only parts that I would need converted to be asynchronous would be the download and upload portions if this is possible. Please provide your thoughts on this when bidding; even if your idea is a different direction than asynchronous operation with the ftp class. The coding will obviously need to be done in c# because the above class you will be modifying is C#.
