Creation of a social networking website. Either from scratch or by modifying DZOICS Handshakes Social networking software. (Already installed). ## Deliverables Buddies web site. I already have installed "handshakes" site software. This provides almost all the following facilities. However, it requires setting up and small modifications. This site is for a social organisation. It is subdivided into local groups. Each group should have its own section, the content of each of these local groups should be added to the regional group. This is a function of the site software. And simply needs setting up properly. The site operates as a social "calendar" for a group of mostly single middle-aged people. The following description of the facilities of the site and functions is not complete. It is intended to give as good a representation of what is wanted as possible. HOWEVER I would expect to make modifications and changes as this work progresses. I will expect to have full communication at all times. Prior to each part of the site being coded I will expect to discuss this fully. Access to the site is to be fully restricted to members only. Various levels of membership including free. Internal homepage to give access to all functions. This is the members own page. This exists as the profile page already and will only require some modification. Members should be able to “subscribe?? to several things; Updates to forums and items on events etc. The organisation is divided into local groups, members can choose to belong to one or more of these. Do they want a newsletter, do they want one by post, do they want to receive SMS messages about events. Payment system. Capable of allowing credit to be given to a set expiry date. Events. (This is a built-in function) Walks. Photo Gallery. (This is a built-in function) Bulletin board and forum. (This is a built-in function) Chat room. (This is a built-in function) Newsletter. HTML compliant. Must be capable of automatically entering details of walks. Should contain images, and be HTML links to full entries on the web site. Option to receive e-mail notifications of changes or new entries to all of the above facilities. Graphically I require that the site be of a common theme. This should reflect the age group of the members and the nature of the site. The administration of the site is important. I will want to be able to track the activity of every individual member using the site. Survey facility. The ability to ask a question or questions the results must be private to the site administrator. As previously stated almost all of these functions are a part of the site software. Mostly they simply need setting up properly. Some modifications may be required. It is anticipated that the successful bidder will be given ongoing work for continual improvements to the site, and maintenance. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PHP MySQL, DZOICS Handshakes.
