Building a new website on a hosted Windows 2003 server and need help building the **website user login function**. I would like the backend database to be an access database that also resides on the host. I would like it built in ASP.
Only the mechanical function of the site needs to be genreated at this time, no significant design work is needed. The pages you build will need to be editable in Microsoft FrontPage 2003 so the design elements can be added later.
The solution will need to do 4 things:
1. Login of an existing user
2. Creation of a new user account.
3. Successful user login redirects to a 'MyAccount' page and displays database information unique to that user.
4. Users with sufficient rights can edit the 'MyAccount' information.
More specific details and a sample mdb are icluded in the zip file. I am open to suggestions that would make the site and data more secure. After the bid is accepted, I will forward you the codes needed to access the hosted website so the solution can be posted and tested.
