This project will give a graphical representation of a hospital ward. The user will be able to drag and drop a patient onto various parts of the screen. Layers are to be used and you must be able to drag and drop the patient layers around the screen. Area 1 is to use remote scripting to refresh the list without refreshing the whole page. This refresh rate to be set at 1 minute initially. This needs to be a variable that can be changed by the user. When you move the mouse over a patient their details are to show in layer 3. When you move the mouse off the patient then the layer becomes invisible. When you drag a patient from Area 1 then they must be deleted from the admissions table and added to either the ward table, transfers table, holding bay or the discharge table. When the admissions table is updated with new patients they must appear on the page on the next refresh. The patient layer to be colour coded according to sex, pink for female and blue for male.
If you click on a bed then open a popup window and pass the patient id to it.
When you drop a patient on the discharge layer open a popup window and pass the patient id to it.
The background image of the hospital ward is to be an image. The beds are to be non moveable layers. It must be easy to add new beds or to create another page with a different ward/bed layout.
