Create options for showing metric measurement labels on wordpress site

I'm about to start a course on helping students integrate walking and movement in their lives (for resolving stress and other health reasons). I have a wordpress site: [[login to view URL]][1]. The site has about 50-60% javascript. Right now, students can enter in how many miles they walk each day. I would like to set options so they can measure their movement (and see the date) using metric. To illustrate what I'm looking to do, I have created the following page: [login to view URL] (note: all files are included in a .rar file attached to this proposal) If we work well together, there are three other updates I'd like to do for the site: Part 2: [login to view URL] Part 3: [login to view URL] Part 4: [login to view URL] Note: they are named after the apostles because I was watching the history channel when I divided up the project. This site is not associated with any religious group or organization. Think of the website as a giant tutorial on the benefits of walking. Anyway, if you're good with wordpress and javascript, bid on this project because it is for a good cause! Also, it will look good on your portfolio. I'll have a friend expand the project based upon your code modifications but you'll both get credit, and I can serve as a good reference (and put in a review for you).
