TASK
Create a .h and .lib file - to detect various windows settings.
Several graphics are attached showing what settings we need, and what the main GUI should look like. Please look at it to understand the bid request better.
You will have one main function that can be lauched from anywhere inside the target application after .h is included and lib added to project.
When function is launched, program will display main gui.
Main GUI will have a list of windows settings as shown in graphic.
each setting can be green or red in color.
Each setting should be a link to a url. we will change to what we want after source is delivered.
GUI should look exactly as shown on image.
"Check for update" should also be a link to a url.
OK button will need to be 3 state button, up down and hover. Button graphic is attached.
SETTINGS To detect.
Internet explorer ver - should be red if less than ver 6
Windows version - should be red if less than XP service pack 2
Desktop bpp - should be red if less than 24 bit color
desktop size - should be red if 800x600 or less
JAVA: - should be red if not SUN java
Font smoothing windows - should be red if in use. Example of this setting attached.
IE7 cleartype option - should be red if in use. Since this is an IE7 only option, if IE 6 or less is detected this option should be automatically green, no need to even check in that case. example of this setting attached.
Code must compile on VC++6
Prefer pure API for this project.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
