C++ DLL minor modification

I have a C++ DLL which exports a number of functions (60 in total) to a 3rd party application. Five of those functions are bools relating to the storage and retrieval of information contained within a small database (2 tables, 6 fields, rarely more than 5 or 6 records). All five functions are contained within a single CPP. Currently the database is in the form of an SQLite database managed on a local machine, and the CPP includes the sdsqlite header. I would like to store the database in future on a remote web server so that it can be accessed by users worldwide via my DLL. To do this, the five existing functions will need to be recoded using either the MySQL++ or MySQL Connector/C++ libraries. Alternatively, connection could be made via PHPs connecting to the database on the remote machine. I am open to suggestions on the most efficient method. Performance (speed) is an important design consideration and I am also slightly against the MySQL++ idea, as I believe it would involve distributing not only my own DLL, but also the [login to view URL] to users. I feel it would be easier if everything could be contained within a single DLL. Bidders should give an indication of their preferred method and also a likely delivery time.
