We need to have a simple virtual pbx only for handling one account of callcentric.com. We will sign up for 1 international account plan and will use a nice sip phone for example x-lite or ebeam for handling the phones. What is the problem: We need to use all the same account of call centric. We will login with our phone with call centric account. However we have 7 project managers who will answer all the phones however the inbound calls is a problem. We also want to have transfers the calls to eachother and music on hold. By default all accounts are limited to only 3 outbound calls at a time; we can however increase this to 100’s or 1,000’s of simultaneous calls on your account if you request it by opening a trouble ticket once you have created your account. 2. Regarding inbound calls. This is more of a problem. Our system is designed to send inbound calls (from a phone number you purchased) to only the last SIP / VoIP device that registered to our servers. Because of this – if you have multiple devices registering under the same account, only the LAST device to register to our servers will receive inbound calls. Since all devices randomly re-register with our servers approximately every 60 seconds its impossible to know which device will ring on the inbound call. The solution to this, especially in an office environment is to run an IP PBX system of which there are many commercial systems available; or a free solution like Asterisk / Trixbox. When you have an IP PBX there is only 1 registration to our servers from it, and the IP PBX determines what to do with the call when it hits it, such as sending to a hunt group, IVR, or queue 3.
