AJAX CHAT/MESSENGER system(repost)

I AM NOT LOOKING FOR CHEAP CHAT SCRIPTS, I have a custom made chat system for my dating site where members can chat with one another...i needs improvements login below to see it Here is what I need for CHAT …if you have any questions let me know…if you think something might be better if done a different way then tell me….thanks Currently the way the CHAT works now is that I need to have a small chat window open the entire time and only then can I receive or make a chat request…if I request to chat with someone who doesn’t have their CHAT window open, they will not get the request. This system is obviously stupid and has to be changed. the CHAT feature (which is currently in AJAX I think) should contain everything it has now plus the following improvements. 1)make sure the chat works 2)make improvements so that the small window which always needs to be opened is no longer needed. 3) And when someone invites another member to chat, they should receive some kind of alert popup that blocks their screen from doing anything else…and says the member’s name that is sending the request and either ACCEPT or REJECT. for ex.
