This is an android app that allows you to do the following functions:
1. Create an inventory of what food you have available in the house. This is done by scanning barcodes on your items, and looking up the items via one of the various UPC lookup websites. If there is no barcode (such as for fresh food) or no barcode can be found, then you can add the item manually.
2. Based on the inventory of what food items you have, the application will recommend recipe ideas that come from a local database. The contents of this database can come from here: [login to view URL]
3. There needs to be a way to add recipes to the local database
4. There needs to be a way to browse the local recipe database and when you select a recipe, it will tell you what food items you are missing, generating a grocery shopping list. You can then "share" that via the android share function that brings up the email/txt/etc spinner.
5. There needs to be a button to clear the local food inventory
