Android - Scale Image

Application will run on mobile devices with Android operation system. User starts the application and select “start camera” or “open image” alternatives. When the user selects “Open Image”, application will show the device’s internal photo gallery. User will select an image (user can select only one image). When the user selects “Start Camera”, application will open the camera and will direct user in order to ensure the photo will be taken appropriate to rules. (Rules will be defined in the next paragraph). User will press the “Freeze” button when he wants and application will show the taken image. User can do two different operations on the selected / taken image: • Calculate lengths manually. • Calculate lengths by using calibration object. Application can measure all the edges in the image automatically. To provide this, implement basic edge detection algorithms and detect the base edges in the image. After then when the user selects “auto scale”, measure all the edges detected and write the results in the image. On the other hand user could want to select any detail in the image by his finger, so application provide this function and can measure the selected detail.
