Assistance with bluetooth LE android app (java) to work in cordova (javascript) app

We have a android app (written in java) that can connect to our BLE device and perform certain commands fine. We are trying to port this to a cordova mobile web app using the plugin ([login to view URL]) although we are open to a use of another plugin. In our cordova app we can connect to the device fine but there is some confusion in replicating hex string to bytes commands and sending it to the device. for example this command on the android app resets the device "ab000005000000000100060000" but we are unable to replicate this behavior on the cordova app. We need someone with BLE experience and sound knowledge of java and javascript to help us make sense of things. As the device is in the office there will have to be some teamviewer to test things. -We can provide the full android java code -You can either remote connect to our javascript code/PC (running through visual studio) to debug or create your own test cordova app which we can debug/test via teamviewer as well.
