Adding jQuery thumb sliding feature (mouse and touch devices).

Hi, I need a sliding feature for my current javascript application that will work on both touch and standard devices. This application shows images/thumbs taken on a certain day/hour. This day is selected by a calendar or by the arrows next to the clock. Functionality of this sliding feature should be: - sliding the thumbs horizontally with mouse/touch (if mouse sliding is a pain, creating arrows on both sides of the thumbs for mouse scrolling might be an option, but is not preferred). - thumbs must automatically scroll to selected/active thumb (when selected by the arrows next to clock or by calendar). - clicking on the thumbs must still work and not be activated by sliding. - * a future option will be sliding of the image itself for showing the next/previous image. So maybe your script can be prepared for this.
