Automatic Trading System, Scanner and Monitor

We are seeking a professional programmer who has experience coding trading applications with industry standard API. The programmer will work closely with us on implementing a trading strategy monitoring application. This bid is for stage 1 of the project. Upon successful completion you will have a priority to be selected for stages 2 and 3. Stage definition can be modified upon agreement. Stage 1 You will have to build an opportunity finder system: it will continuously scan the market for predefined rules (live, during open hours). Those rules need as input stock and option prices on all available names in the big exchanges. The system will output a live stream of the found opportunities. The system will also have to implement a connection to an existing technical analysis program (Java), whose output is part of the opportunity filter. The system will get additional parameters form the user. The system will score the opportunities based on a provided special formula. The system will have a GUI to present the results in a convenient way to the user Stage 2 Translate Stage 1 output into orders. Keep track of all orders and cancel them when the opportunity disappears or modify them when conditions change. Stage 3 Manage position and risk, send orders to reduce risk / close position if certain conditions are met. Language: - Java Schedule - 1 month from agreement until delivery, Negotiable.
