Howdy! I've been working lately in implementing a RESTful Java API server that generates JSON responses, so I have quite a lot of expertise on dealing with that kind of issues. I was deploying in an Amazon EC2, so I feel very comfortable with deploying in Amazon, but we can use any other alternative (Google GAE, ComputeEngine, custom VPS, up to you really). I was using MongoDB to store the data, so I feel great using Mongo too. I've got one question regarding your description tough..."getting data for API"...does that mean we are getting the data from an external API or we're going to generate an API that produces data?
