I have some work, in an Excel spreadsheet. I have sheet that is a data log. This log gets updated at random times. Column one is date of entry. Column three is category. I can sort the categories for all entries easily and if I select the cell number can by date but then every page has a different cell range. I would like to create a date range option and then count number of instances each category is mention through a specific time frame.
