Hi Ryan, I am a native English speaker and a graduate of Mathematics from Imperial College London. I have been working as a freelance web developer since graduating and have a wealth of experience in PHP, HTML, CSS, Wordpress and Javascript amongst other web and non web technologies. I would approach this project either by a custom page template to be used on the home page, with the image grid coded into this template, but pulling data on which images and urls to use from custom fields (thus being changeable from the WP backend).
