My client has an Excel spreadsheet with work shifts for a given amount of employee. He manually enters the shift for each employee so they know when to come to work to his office. He is looking to make this system less manual and more automated so he doesn’t have to waste time creating this schedule each month. This are some key details about the client: - 64 employee ( more could be added) - Looking for an automated way of generating shifts for his employee - System he is looking for should comply with some local government criterias on how much hours a person can work based on the type of shift (night shift, day shift, mix shift which means day and night) base on this criterias we need to create a random schedule with the amount of employees he need available each month. - This app will randomly and automatically assign employees a schedule on a monthly basis. - An admin must be able to set each schedule values. - An admin must be able to set the minimum employees needed per shift. View attached sample [login to view URL] The application that we need to build should be: 1- Web based 2- Have a panel to control settings (add or remove number of employee, shifts, etc) and generate the reports (generate the schedule for the current month or generate a fraction of it depnding on what the manager needs to display). 3- Custom reports so that the owner of the company can inform the supervisors on the schedules for each week.
